In Mysql is er een goedkope truc om dit te doen:

de tilde is de bitsgewijze ontkenning. De resulterende waarde is een bigint. Zie:http://dev.mysql .com/doc/refman/5.1/en/bit-functions.html#operator_bitwise-invert
