Het is een functie.. geen bug.
De tabelstatistieken worden in de cache opgeslagen. Om de cache uit te schakelen en altijd over de nieuwste versie te beschikken, moet u de servervariabele die de duur van de cache-clear aangeeft, wijzigen in 0:
SET PERSIST information_schema_stats_expiry = 0
De standaardwaarde van deze eigenschap is gewijzigd in 86400 (24 uur) in Mysql 8.x
