Ik maak verbinding met verschillende databases via PHP met UnixODBC, hier is mijn configuratie voor een Microsoft SQL Server:

Test vervolgens uw verbinding:
isql mssql username password
Afhankelijk van uw omgeving uw username moet mogelijk de volgende indeling hebben:domein\gebruikersnaam
Na het geven van het commando zou je zoiets moeten zien als:
